A home on Lake Rabun, Georgia, roofed in zinc — VM Zinc, installed as a double-lock standing seam roof. A very unique installation: the roof planes intersect over a courtyard, and every seam had to run true through each transition.

Double-lock seaming is a technique hundreds of years old. The panels are folded together twice, by hand — no exposed fasteners, nothing to snap loose. We are the only installer in the Southeast who still does it.

Zinc starts bright and settles to a soft matte gray. Against the trees and the water, it sits easy.
